I would like to rescue a female yorkie for my daughter for christmas. She has been wanting one for years but I cant afford one, but maybe I can now thanks to this rescue I have found.

I have a male yorkie and have been thinking about using him for stud service in return for a puppy to give to my sister. After reading about the yorkie rescue, I thought it would be much wiser to adopt a yorkie that needs a good home. I have rescued 9 dogs of different breeds. Are there yorkie rescues in Florida, where my sister lives?

I have a yorkie who is 2years old. so I am familar with the breed. I think my vet can testify to my care and concern for my animals. They are neutered, have all their shots up to date, and are on heart worm preventive, and flea and tick preventive also, my yorkie is so human, she can almost talk (Lol.) I have an underground electric fence, that is a God send. so no chance of getting out ,getting lost,or being hit by a car. We live on a lake in the country. it makes me sick to think of people constantly breeding these yorkies, to get the smallest size, and charging a fortune. It is a business to them, and not for the love of an animal.
The laws need to be changed so there are a lot less breeders. I want to give one of these babies a home, from a shelter, instead of buying from a breeder./Thank you: Sharon Brown Indiana {email edited to you from spammers}@aol.com

I am ready to take on a ‘Yorkie’ regardless of current or future vet expenses. If you love something or someone in this case, you will do anything to care for them. These dogs are family members to me, and would be treated as such. When my kids get sick I take them to the doctor, when my animals get sick I take them to the vet. I am interested in rescuing a yorkie in paticular because I just want to help one of these little guys. (or girls) Yes they are cute, but even cute dogs need a loving family to provide for them, love them, play with them, and include them in a home. I would also love to care for a neopolitan mastiff…to me there isn’t that much of a difference…they all need love and care. Who knows, maybe it is my calling. Thank you.
