A home for Mia
Mia is a one year old, 7lb Yorkshire Terrier. She has been under the loving care of a volunteer of this Yorkie dog rescue after getting separated from her family and being captured by animal control in Texas.
This volunteer foster owner rescued and currently cares for Mia as well as other cats and dogs as part of the Yorkie dog rescue network. Mia is currently in the foster care of that volunteer in Los Angeles, CA. This care includes an initial medical evaluation to guarantee that any respective owner is taking home a healthy pet. Mia was examined by a veterinarian and was diagnosed with some minor conditions caused by her time on her own which required medication. Blood tests showed that Mia was slightly anemic due to fleas. She also had runny eyes and an ear infection. All of these conditions are being medicated by her foster owner as directed by the vet. None of this has slowed down little Mia, who is still frisky and playful, though she is recovering.
This Yorkie dog rescue organization wants to make sure that its pets are placed in loving and compatible permanent homes. Foster pets have their pictures displayed on the website for potential owners to browse. Foster owners also help in the process of finding good homes for homeless pets. This will insure that Mia doesn’t end up astray again. While she awaits adoption, Mia’s socialization has been tested. Mia lives and plays well with other dogs and cats both male and female without issue. The Yorkie dog rescue volunteer in charge of her care has reported that Mia is good on her housetraining skills. Her favorite toy is a ball. She loves to fetch any kind of ball that is thrown, whether fluffy, sqeaky, or bouncy. Mia is all puppy and spends her time at the Yorkie dog rescue playing alone and with the other pets.
Every dog deserves to have a permanent human companion. Mia is currently in the process of being adopted. She will make a wonderful pet. Such a great yorkie rescue dog could slip between your fingers, so begin looking today!
