Basically, rescue centers are a great place for people who want to own a teacup Yorkie without the higher cost, except for some minimal fees for the person to get approved of, bring one home, and treat the dog as their own.

With these kind of dogs taking refuge in such place, don’t expect to find Teacup Yorkies of quality.

These dogs were not treated accordingly by their former owners which in turn developed to mistrust to other people. They also developed habits that are unusual in some way – but all this is part of the Teacup Yorkie behavior which had been negatively built. But this is not to say that many of these abandoned dogs in Teacup Yorkie rescues are hopeless in this regard.

While some are taken in to further their well-being in the hands of professionals, a lot of these dogs have the ability also to respond to certain activities – in a positive way. Many Teacup Yorkies have shown progress in terms of health and other change of attitude/behavior, which is sustained thanks to the very supportive staff who are there to care for them.

Various reasons why owners resort to place their Teacup Yorkies in rescue homes. Some owners may have had to settle to another place; some dogs have medical problems and couldn’t possibly care for them any longer; and some simply give them up in favor of another breed, realizing in the end that they prefer the new dog and chose to place the Teacup Yorkie to a place where others want one, without the hassle of getting all expensive (which is rare, by the way).

Some are rescued Teacup Yorkie puppies and moms from puppy mills – places where greedy people treat this breed for breeding purposes only, for profit. Since Teacup Yorkie Terriers are a good breed of their own and many people want to own one, some heartless individuals incorporate this kind of business scheme where proper care, grooming, and affection are simply out in the equation. Teacup Yorkie moms are just being fed to live and breed, and most of the puppies have no papers to speak of their pedigree. Most of them are mixed breed, though.

However, if you still want to own a Teacup Yorkie from a rescue home, make sure that you decide for the best. These dogs need shelter, more love and care – and if you have the capacity to provide all of them contact your nearest Teacup Yorkie rescue home as soon as possible.

Dogs are said to be man’s best friend. As a best friend, dogs show their love and care to their owner. Dogs are also capable of serving their owners. They, too, can communicate and show off what they got by their tricks, skills, and strategies in any manner. Many dog owners have established their love with their dogs because of the happiness that their dogs bring to them and to their family. Caring dogs may be expensive. But dogs are capable of proving their worth. Dogs are indeed the most valuable and useful pet. But then, despite the great things that the dogs can bring, it is frustrating to see many dogs having no shelter and no one to love them.

Truthfully, there are dogs that have no place to go and masters. They merely wander around the streets finding foods anywhere. They are not protected from vultures and enemies that may end their lives. They are not properly taken care of. Their lives are indeed put to danger. But it is not yet late to rescue Yorkie.

Sadly, dogs only depend upon man to save their lives from danger. Since man consider the dogs are their bestfriend, and so the dogs. As a bestfriend, man should take effort and time to take care of the dogs whose lives are put to danger. The last hope of the dogs for survival depends upon the hands of man. Unluckily, the yorkie is among the breeds wandering in streets and hoping to find shelter.

Notably, Yorkie normally lives only up to 15 years. Yorkie that reaches 10 years of age is already experiencing the risk of being thrown out and terminated. Among owners, Yorkie that are getting older are no longer useful. However, contrary to such notion, Yorkie is more capable while growing old. At age ten and above, Yorkie is more energetic to walk and play with its master. Yorkie owners can also enjoy running with their dogs on their yards. Knowing that Yorkie lives only 15 years, living with these dogs should be treasured. In fact, 15 year period is only a short period that should not be missed. Within such period, Yorkies can bring happy experiences that should be enjoyed and treasured while they are alive. So, instead of living Yorkies unsheltered and unloved, Yorkie should be saved before they come into extinction. This very moment is the perfect time to rescue Yorkie.

If you are planning to get your next pet dog from an animal rescue center, there are some things you need to consider when doing so. Thousands of abandoned and abused yorkies are in dire need of a home and a responsible owner. But there are some things that you first need to bear in mind when considering adopting a Yorkshire Terrier from Yorkie rescue centers.
Most yorkies in rescues or animal shelters are male. Majority of them exceed ten pounds, making them sturdier than show-quality or teacup yorkies. A purebred yorkie has faults that disqualify them from being show dogs. Caring for yorkies may require more time and effort than a big dog. While exercise is not a necessity, they require much grooming and attention though.
Yorkie rescue dogs are far different from the pictures of champion show Yorkshire terriers in dog breed books or websites. But this does not mean that your pet is not a real Yorkie. Most Yorkshire terriers are not able to meet the stringent standards for show dogs. If your pet is more than seven pounds and is not overweight, it is likely that your pet will be more healthier than a three-pound yorkie. Likewise, it may have a different color, have floppy ears, or with an overbite. However, there is still a chance that the dog could be purebred.
One of the most common problems you will encounter with yorkies from rescue shelters is housebreaking. Toy dogs have small bladders and are accident-prone as they cannot hold more urine. But training your yorkie to be litter box can be successful. They can be prone to accident if they are unable to go out once every four hours during the day. Cleaning materials should be on hand and remove valuables off the floor.
Aside from these, taking care of a yorkie rescue dog can be more costly than an average dog. As they have silky, fast-growing coats, you need to trim the hair or yourself or a professional groomer once a month. They have the weakest teeth among other breeds of dog so they need to be taken to the veterinarian several times a year.
Finally, yorkies often have trouble holding their urine before they can have the opportunity to go outside. Clever as they are, these dogs can be trained to use a cat litter box. You need to prepare yourself for accidents and how to clean them up. Housebreaking a dog from yorkie rescue centers will require a lot of training in order to determine the best way to do it. Of course, help is always around. These are things you need to consider in adopting dogs from yorkie rescue centers.

It is unfortunate to read from news and watch from tv that some dogs are left homeless and found wandering around the streets. It is also browning off to learn that some dogs are killed or put to suffer until their death because they are viewed as useless or crowding a space. At this time, there are confirmed reports about dog abuses that are not addressed by laws. Animal rights are indeed not respected in many places.

It is further saddening to learn that despite the joy and happiness that dogs brings to people, they are still being abused. The dogs are deprived of the love and care that they deserve. Their right to live and enjoy their lives is also taken away from them. The government has not taken action to protect the dogs. Only few groups of people are also devoted to save the dogs, especially Yorkie breed. Sometimes, some of these pro-dog organizations collapse due to financial incapability. Today, there are only few strong organizations helping to rescue Yorkie.

Among the favorite breeds of dogs is Yorkie. It is also the breed that is feared to extinct because of few organizations upholding their life. Yorkie is known to normally live up to 15 years. Some are lucky to reach 20 years. During the 15 years that Yorkie can live, there are various happy things it can share to humans. Aside from its cute and cuddly features, it is also capable of communicating with humans. A love and care given is also given back. Its beauty also shines as it grows older. Apart from that, there are various colors of Yorkie dogs. Their coats also grow stronger and silkier giving more delight to everyone seeing them. Apart from that, Yorkie dogs are fond of playing and walking with their masters as they grow old. They also enjoy running around the yard. At the last stage of their life, they bring more inspiration and love to keep despite their extinction. Such experience is worth a treasure because of the smiles and happy times spent with them. These things may be simple yet they can be pleasure worth to be treasured. In order not to miss such experiences with the Yorkies, time is right to rescue them and make their life more colorful. Before Yorkie comes into extinction, anyone’s time and effort to rescue Yorkie is worth more than gold and silver.

Millions of dogs are abandoned every day, and the Yorkie bread just happens to be one of them. Sometimes owners just get bored, or realize they aren’t fit to care for the animal, and thus, they must give them up. Some Yorkies must actually be rescued for neglectful or abusive owners, while some are taken in simply because of abandonment. A Yorkie is not the type of dog that can simply fend for itself, and in order to remain healthy and happy, they need good, permanent, homes.

If you are looking to adopt a Yorkie, I would recommend looking into Yorkie Rescue, as opposed to buying one outright. There are several reasons why. First, and foremost, you are saving a dog that has been in a previously unhappy situation, and when it comes to Yorkies, you are also saving a lot of money. Yorkies are loyal, talkative, and do very well in family situations due to their temperament, and thus they are very safe to have around the kids. With Yorkie Rescue, you are saving a dog, owning a new one, and saving money. Many Yorkies that are abandoned may have medical bills or health issues, but many are just a healthy and ready to go.

Do both your family, and prospective dog a favor, and before running to a pet store, check out Yorkie Rescue!
